After spreading her wings and relocating to New York City, her career kicked into overdrive. She has performed nationally and internationally while sharing the stage with Living Colour, Janelle Monae, Aloe Blacc, Bilal, Mayer Hawthorne, and English rock band The Heavy. Her mesmerizing performance style has captured the attention and support of Quincy Jones, Steven Tyler, Ashford & Simpson, and fashion guru Andre Leon Talley. Talley was so impressed by Nichole that he featured her in Vogue magazine. Kimberly Nichole has also been recognized by Seventeen Magazine and MTV UK for her sense of style, stage presence, and captivating voice.

Kimberly Nichole was a finalist on NBC’s eighth season of “The Voice” and she is also well-known as the Mistress of Madness from the wildly popular private New York nightclub, The Box. She has performed in front of industry A-listers such as Steven Tyler, Jude Law, Baz Luhrmann, Jay Z, Beyonce, Adrian Grenier, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bruce Springsteen, and more.

Kimberly Nichole’s most amazing milestone has been writing and self-releasing her debut album “The Yellow Brick Journey”. Music from her album has been featured on MTV, BET, VH1, LOGO, Lifetime, and Showtime. After hearing music from the project, famed director George C. Wolfe personally selected Kimberly Nichole as a featured rock performer in his film “You Are Not You,” which stars Emmy Rossum and Hilary Swank. Kimberly continues to perform with her band and is recording new music for her album “The Lonely Bones.” She received the ASCAP Foundation’s “Reach Out and Touch” award, which was established to advance the careers of promising young songwriters.
