He was recruited by PolyGram Records to start a new division called PolyGram Diversified Entertainment whose focus was on developing new businesses for PolyGram that were related to their core music operations.  During this period, Jeff started producing music television programs and Broadway shows.  Among the television shows he produced there were Diana Ross Live: The Lady Sings…Jazz and Blues for live ppv, Disney and Bravo, Woodstock ’94 for live ppv and MTV, the 25th anniversary concert event where he was also one of the lead producers for the whole event, Elvis Aaron Presley: The Tribute, the “official” tribute concert with Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley for live ppv and ABC prime time, Guns and Roses: Live from Paris for live ppv and MTV, Verve Records @ 50: The Jazz Masters at Carnegie Hall for NHK and PBS. After PolyGram decided to enter the movie business, Rowland left PDE to join Metropolitan Entertainment where he ran the Television and Theatre division and continued to produce television specials and Broadway theatre for five years until he left to start his own production company, Two Hands Entertainment going on 15 years ago and continues thrive as an independent producer.  Most recently Two Hands Entertainment produced Lady Day for Emerson’s Bar & Grill for HBO starring Audra McDonald who received an Emmy nomination for her starring role.
