SWITSER + KNIGHT is a Brooklyn based design studio that focuses on the integration of live performance and video. Led by Creative Director Austin Switser, recent Broadway productions include American Psycho, Rock of Ages, and American Idiot. Opera: Onegin (Spoleto Festival), Trojan Women (National Changgeuk Company of Korea), Paradise Interrupted (Spoleto Festival, Lincoln Center Festival, Singapore International Festival of the Arts), Emilie (Spoleto Festival, Lincoln Center Festival, Finnish National Opera), Facing Goya (Spoleto Festival, Singapore International Festival of the Arts), Tristan and Isolde (The Dallas Opera). Switser is the resident video designer for The New York based performance and media company The Builders Association (Elements of Oz, Sontag: Reborn, House/Divided, Jet Lag 2010). Other designs have been seen at Signature Theater, New York Theater Workshop, The Apollo Theater, The Mark Taper Forum, The La Jolla Playhouse, and The Ahmanson. In addition, S+K has produced content for unique projects with companies such as Complex.com, Google, AMC, Cook’s Illustrated, and Nike.
