ROCKTOPIA Live In Budapest : A Classical (R)evolution

A unique live concert experience celebrating a fusion of Classical Music, Classic Rock and Opera with original and one-of- a-kind musical arrangements.

ROCKTOPIA: Live In Budapest was recorded for PBS in front of a live audience at the world-famous Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest in June 2016. This unique live music show was performed by the 65-piece Orchestra of the Hungarian State Opera along with six world-class vocalists, a five-piece rock band, the Hungarian State Opera Chorus, and the Jazz and More Choir.

Drawing from the best popular classic rock songs and the finest composers throughout history, ROCKTOPIA performs music from: Queen, Mozart, Journey, Puccini, Led Zeppelin, Heart, Beethoven, Styx, Foreigner, Rachmaninoff, Pink Floyd, Copland, and The Who, along with many others. Accompanied by fully-immersive video, ROCKTOPIA: Live In Budapest tells the universal story of the human condition in the way that only music that has touched the hearts of generations can.
